Keep Rappahannock Beautiful!
RLEP has adopted a section of Route 211 as one way to help keep Rappahannock beautiful – from Viewtown Road (Route 642) to the County line at Waterloo Road, east and westbound lanes – under VDOT’s Adopt-a-Highway program.
Dark Sky Event Calendar
The Rappahannock County Recreational Facilities Authority (RCRFA) will open the park a total of nine (9) evenings during 2025 during which the public can come and observe the night skies (nominally once a month during the warmer months).
The ‘New Moon’ dates were chosen to provide dark moonless nights for observations. The “FULL Moon” date was chosen to allow a nearly full moon to be observed above the trees in the park.
